Development
Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for revenue growth of Factory Automation Systems and Services businesses within the assigned territory.

Your Role

  • Develops and implements annual sales growth strategies that will meet or exceed revenue targets.

  • Meets or exceeds quarterly and annual revenue targets. Revenue targets will include Factory Automation Systems and Services business units.

  • Manage sales opportunities following the current sales continuum process and provides weekly updates.

  • Exercise due diligence in understanding company financials to ensure sales opportunities are profitable to the organization.

  • Prioritizes time commitments with key business prospects that align best with DT Engineering’s revenue targets, financial health, and ideal customer profiles.

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with target industry influencers and key strategic partners.

  • Monitor’s competitor products, sales and marketing activities on a regular basis and report findings for review and guidance.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial engineering.

  • MBA preferred.

  • Up to five years’ experience in the industrial automation industry.

  • Field sales experience or a member of a Society for Sales Engineers.

  • Life Science, cosmetic, or consumer packaged goods experience preferred.

  • Ability to travel to customer sites and various trade shows.
