The Project Engineer assures that DT Engineering Automation & Tooling System projects are quoted, designed, and manufactured with sound manufacturing principles that meet customer and company expectations. Represents DT Engineering during concept meetings with customers; drives effective dialog, clarity and consent. Assures the procurement, fabrication, and build efforts meet customer commitments and fall within as-sold budges; labor and materials.
As a Concept Engineer, you will work with teams to develop an engineering concept in response to customer Request for Quote. The concept package includes but is not limited to, a written description, an engineered drawing/model, a Timing Device Chart, a preliminary Gantt Chart, and a Concept FMEA of the proposed equipment. You will be required to have knowledge in engineering methods, manufacturing and assembly processes, and innovative automation capabilities.
The Machinist sets up and operates conventional, special purpose, and computer numerical (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts, and fits and assembles machined parts into complete units, applying knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, maintainability of materials, and layout techniques.
